Gen F: 2nd IMC Youth Congress, PANANAW Awards Debuts

For two days this October, the PANA Foundation (PANAF) will deliver a twin-bill event to top all earlier endeavours.   From October 7 to 8, 2011 at the Irwin Theater of the Ateneo de Manila University, fresh young minds from the top universities will gather for the 2nd Youth IMC Congress and the 12th IMC Students’ Competition – the latter now rebranded as the PANANAW Awards.

On just its second year, the IMC Youth Congress – TAG You’re It! Series packs a stage-full of the country’s ‘young, best and brightest’.  Carrying all the pop-techno-gadgetry of a digital century in their genes, the 2nd IMC Youth Congress presents Gen F – for Find, Follow, Friend,  Fashion, Fun, and Facebook. 

This crafty event features tableaux of relevant speakers on a panel format.  Carefully chosen young achievers will reveal precious knowledge based on their own success stories.  That’s the young addressing the younger in a shared language. 

Walking in the footsteps of PANA and its sister competition the PANATA Awards, the PANANAW Awards makes its debut this year.   Literally meaning ‘vision’, the word infuses a wider breadth as ‘perspective’ – a powerful ally to any communicator’s vocabulary.  

Battling it out for that coveted PANANAW, this year’s student teams have the world on their shoulders in more ways than one with the theme Energy Conservation.  Considering the brilliance previously exposed in this competition, the theme is simply ‘no sweat’.

Join PANAF and friends as we bring the best practitioners of the trade the country has to offer on one stage in Gen F.   That’s two days of learning from top-level marketers, decision-makers and academicians.  For PANANAW, compete and be judged by  the most-esteemed names in their fields.
